Our Vision & Mission:

Elisa Chan, AAASA Founder

The Asian American Alliance of San Antonio (AAASA) was founded in 2015 by our Founder and Inaugural President Elisa Chan with the vision of uniting San Antonio’s Asian American organizations to create a greater voice to champion Asian American issues.

The AAASA is an alliance of the largest and most influential Asian American organizations in San Antonio. Our member organizations span the spectrum of the San Antonio Asian American community with business associations, chambers of commerce, professional / trade, educational, cultural and civil rights organizations.

The mission of the AAASA is to unite and advocate for Asian Americans in San Antonio. Relying on the extensive experience, skills, and knowledge of our board members, the AAASA facilitates the efforts of our member organizations. Our projects are typically designated to a lead member organization whose mission aligns with the purpose of the project. Support of the project comes from our other member organizations. We encourage our member organizations to work together to gain experience and skills while strengthening relationships.
